After winning the Helen Keller award in its efforts to assist persons with disabilities with innovative VoiceOver, Apple is rumored to have been awarded a patent new technology in iPhone which can help deaf. 

Reporting from Patently Apple, this technology patent describes a portable audio device. In this case the iPhone can detect the presence of hearing aids belonging deaf. iPhone will automatically adjust the volume of the audio signal or so brought closer. 

Mechanism of action of the technology in this patent uses a proximity sensor and a magnet. deaf when his iPhone closer to the hearing instrument, the iPhone will automatically increase the volume of his voice to be heard. 

For example, deaf people do not have to again hit the volume button on the iPhone manually to listen to the sound louder when he received a phone call because the iPhone alone do it automatically. 

Patents detection of hearing aids in this iPhone is one of the 52 patents that Apple just get out of the office affairs US patents and trademarks (USPTO).
