9to5Mac reported that Apple will soon expand the scope of the MFI program for third party accessories manufacturer to produce the dock (cradle) with an integrated charger for Apple devices Watch.

Apple will soon let manufacturers in its Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod (MFi) licensing program include charging pads for the Apple Watch directly in their accessories, according to sources.

It’s still early stages, however, so don’t expect to see manufacturers touting integrated chargers for a while. As of this week, the component is available in ‘sample quantities’ to MFi partners but official plans for accessories including the part cannot yet be submitted for approval.

Currently, users who want to charge Apple Watch should use the default charger from Apple when put in the cradle accessories made by third-party manufacturers. The way it was considered less practical. Fortunately, Apple will soon bring solutions that make it easier for its users.

Apple announced a program Made for Apple Watch in early May. Made for Apple Watch program is the same as the MFI program for the iPhone, iPad and iPod, which allows third party accessories manufacturer producing accessories for Apple devices.

But unfortunately, not yet known exactly when the third party accessories manufacturers will begin producing seat with unique and creative designs to replace the default charger from Apple.
