Total Sales of Apple Watch in Q3 2015

Tim Cook said that the number of sales of Apple Watch, which was launched at the end of last April have exceeded expectations. Apple's CEO convey the matter to the investor in the event of financial statements and earnings during the third quarter of 2015 Apple had just they announce. 

As reported by Cult of Mac, although not specify how many million units sold, sales of Apple's Tim Cook claimed Watch is better than the iPhone and iPad sales in the nine weeks after it was launched. 

“We beat our internal expectations,” Cook told investors today during the company’s Q3 earnings call. Not only were sales better than expected, Tim Cook also dispelled myths that sales spiked in April and have been on a downward trend. According to the Apple CEO, “June sales were higher than April or May.” A vast majority of sales actually occurred in just the last two weeks of the quarter. 

As for the reason why Apple kept secret the amount of sales of Apple Watch is due to competitive reasons alone. Moreover, the device watches it fall into the other category products along with Apple TV, iPod and Beats headphones. 

Other categories of products that contribute profits for Apple for $2.6 billion during the third quarter of 2015 from $1.6 billion in the previous quarter. CFO Luca Maestri Watch calls Apple devices to benefit as much as $952 million. 

This value is equivalent to the analysts predicted sales of 3 million units of Apple Watch in the price range $ 500 during the quarter. The big selling Apple Watch reported last June in which Apple officially sold in the Apple Store.
